its a torsion bar/spring. if the left wheel its a bump the sway bar pivots and also pushes up on the right wheel. The stiffer the sway bar the less the bar twists, so the force from hitting the bump is applied more evenly to both wheels. This also means less lateral roll/body roll, and more overstear if the rear bar is replaced with a stiffer one.

  • helps minimize body roll by transfering weight

  • what does the sway bar do?

  • cool vid, have you guys done one for the rear? (i know it is almost identical)

  • no torque spec on the mounts around the bushings :(

  • i will probably be doing this today or tomorrow

  • yay sean! btw i am coming back for xmas to get a set of your sway bars! look forward to it!

  • very nice. I just bought this kit and had no idea what those Lateral lock clips were for. I got 4 of them.... hmm..

  • pardon my naivety, but wtf is he using, a battery powered impact gun??
