Visions Of Hell (Part 5) - ACA Lecture Series With Matt Dillahunty.

Most religions address the afterlife, including some cosmic system of rewards and punishment. Many of these afterlife claims include some place of torture, torment or purging that we might tend to generalize as "hell".

In this lecture, we'll take a tour through a number of different concepts of hell by inspecting the art and literature that have helped spread this ubiquitous meme - even among the secular. While some modern theologians have abandoned claims of a literal hell, others continue to promote views that include lakes of fire and laughing saints. If Christianity and other religions were to die off tomorrow, would the concept of hell slip away as well?

everyone can see good and evil in the world there must be a god because someone created us if there is a god then who is he he must have left something for us to go buy it is called the bible it is completely accurate in prophecy and history and everything else if you study there is a heaven and hell and I can make sure to you there is a hell and if you do not accept jesus you will go there that's all I have to say i hope this helps someone

If Satan had FaceBook, I wonder what he would put as his Religious Status? He can't say Agnostic, because he knows deities like Vishnu and Apollo exist. On the same token he doesn't worship himself. I imagine he adheres to Pastafarmi.

I want to thank Matt specifically on this series on Hell.

I'm trying to get thru to my lady friend who is caught so deeply in the clutches of Fundamentalism. She lives in dread fear of hell. I was once where she is now & I want to help her so badly.

I'm going to try & get her to watch your "Visions of Hell" series. I'm excited about it bcuz U have done such a great job of explaining all this. U R truly gifted in your ability to effectively get this info across.

Now, I hope she'll watch it!
