@Covert39 Intellectual (adj) engaged in activity requiring the creative use of the intellect. There's not a intellectual in the world who believes in the stupidity of the bible. Answer me this Mighty Intellectual person. Isa 7:14 Why is the word "almah" translated to mean "young maiden" in the original hebrew torah but in the 1611 King James Version it is suddenly translated to mean "virgin". Care to explain that one.

@arktheball The term "mitochondrial eve" is a misnomer. It simply represents the most recent common matrilineal ancestor from whom all living humans are descended. There have been many eves.

@videosforblogs Even if the Bible was some sort of agenda it wouldnt be so crazy. I think if anything it would inspire hope and create morals to abide by. Thats not such a bad agenda. If it works for people, then whats so bad about this "agenda"?
I think theres more of an agenda to destroy, not Religion in general, but Christianity.

A true intellectual will question everything and take nothing on faith alone. Although the bible could be the actual word of G-d (said with respect), it could also be the word of some crazy person pushing an agenda for something completely unrelated.
