  • For fanboys though i would feel content for it

  • I agree with Mankiewicz and I have been a fan of x-men since I was a kid. The other two felt like fan boys being upset cuz they didn't take the story where they would have taken it. I understand being upset over anachronisms but honestly a lot of other films with a higher degree of "pedigree" have committed similar crimes yet their review score remains unaffected by such trivial matters. The film is made for a general audience and fanboys should accept the fact that Hollywood does not make film

  • You guys say you really enjoyed the movie but you give it a 6? I think a 6 is a almost bad rating.

  • Well the lack of a "lead hero" didn't take away from the movie it actually enhanced it. I feel like the writers were trying to capture the divide between Professor X and Magneto which they did well. That aside I'm a huge fan of the X-Men series, and I hate this fuckin movie. Not don't get me wrong it is an Awesome movie, but it's a shitty X-Men movie. So if you watch it as just a kick ass action film, it fuckin owns. If you watch it as an X-Men movie it blows.

  • These guy's talk some absolute bollocks, the movie was great, there was not a "hero" to follow because the characters don't know where their going yet and are developing that's the whole fun bit about the reboot, also I love the 60's setting it was sleek and a cool backdrop to the story, Xmen First class rocks can't wait for the sequel.

  • @LitosWay357 Darwin was introduced just to be killed off, as for most of the other characters they were only present so the film could demonstrate various powers using today's special effects. Banshee, Angel, Havok etc were nothing but cardboard cutouts, they had no character development what so ever, they were there simply to "look cool".

  • Shit film

  • I hope they do reboot the series with this film as the start. The trilogy was weak, and even the stupid Wolverine prequel ignored the trilogy in terms of making a relationship between Wolverine and Sabretooth that didn't exist in the 2000 film. I wouldn't mind Jackman still portraying his character, but let's do the X-Men justice now!

  • @jimbobjimminy her whole story was weird

  • darwin should not have been put in that movie at all. his power set creates too many possibilities to translate onscreen without being overpowered. his death was cheap as hell and just a way to get rid of him because they don't know what to do with him.

  • Isn't it a good thing that they didn't single one person out to be the hero? It's called x-men not x-man and that's what I hated about the first four movies how much screen time wolverine got compared to people like cyclops and storm

  • @HadesObsidian "Freaks."

  • Just wanna make a correction to anyone that might be confused: This film is both a prequel to the first "X-Men" movie AND a reboot, not unlike the fore-mentioned J.J. Abrams "Star Trek". It borrows elements from the previous "X-Men" movies, but "First Class" has been confirmed as the first part of what will be a new "X-Men" franchise. That is all.

  • i really liked it a lot. everything about it was handled really well and i hope the same production team makes the next one.

  • i liked this film it redeemed x-men after x-3 and wolverine in my view. i think january jones did a great emma frost. idk why people get confused about her emma and the one in the wolverine film the one in wolverine was never even called emma or anything besides sister by Kayla.

  • @Seannyskillz define a "good movie"

  • @crazyformusik I dont think the movies have to be consistent, this is a rebooted series.

  • @TheNightcloudHATER Agreed, i hope he doesnt lose his hair, he had awesome hair. And his accent.

  • I enjoyed the film. However I believe that the two guys on the audience's left were clinging too much to the comic book version of Emma Frost. I really do believe that the actress in First Class made Emma her own character. The whole film was splendid but it isn't my favorite; Cars2 is.

  • @crazyformusik Most likely using his powers to do so.

  • What bugged me the most was that Professor X got shot when he was young on the movie right ? But on X-men The last stand . They show the older version of Professor X being able to walk STILL ! So I was like WHAT ??

  • @jesse10022 It ''blowed'', did it? XD

  • Dude, this movie blowed, overrated shit.

  • @Chowezzy LMAO!! "fucking racist ass hollywood"...You say that when people like Will Smith, Don Cheadle, Samuel L Jackson, Halle Berry, etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. are some of the biggest names in the game? ROFL.

You're a perfect example of why white people think that all black people have that "DA WHITE MAN GOT ME DOWN" mentality. You're like the fuckin "that's racist!" gif lol
