Lanvin Homme Summer 2009

Paris 29 June 2008 -- Lanvin was the only one to receive a standing ovation during the Fashion Week. At Lanvin's fashion show which took place on the morning of the 29th June and which appeared to please as many journalists as buyers. It is true that Lucas Ossenjdriver, designer of the men's collection and Alber Eldaz, artistic director of Lanvin, showed a masculine collection that was romantic as well as laid back and elegant with a sporty influence.
The effort that has gone into the cuts, stitching, gathering, reliefs and pleating is evident. This season weightlessness is achieved with technical fabrics such as polyester detailed with bronze, ivory and sandy tones. The boater hats with flowers, balloon sleeved light shirts, bejewelled tops are glimpsed under jackets, a scarf around the waist. Each silhouette possesses a multitude of details rendering the outfit still more incredible and poetic.
