I heard this song for the first time on November Second, 2009. At my Grandfathers funeral. I will NEVER forget it. And henceforth, I will call my local radio station on this day and do what I can to have them play this song on that date. Grandpa John, you will never be forgotten...

FFFFUUUU - Don't you realize that when harvest comes along, it's nice for the crops to be dry? So you can actually harvest them?

Cotton can't be picked if it's too wet. Poor dirt farmers always had to worry about getting flooded out. It's always a race to beat the rains when harvesting. My Grandfather had to use a boat to get the women from the house to high ground more than once. Don't mock what you don't understand.
