*Ariena's POV*
I walked to school, but feeling a bit better. Soon enough, I'd have a car. I walked onto the school property and shook my head at all of the mercedes, corvettes, mustangs and every other flashy car in the parking lot. I definitely didn't fit in here. Everyone wore name brand clothes, shoes, bags, I bet even namebrand underwear. I didn't. And almost every girl is unnaturally blonde and tan. It's obviously fake, considering our entire town is covered by clouds and trees. Whereas me, I look like I should live here. Pale, Deep brown hair. I hate the way I look. Well, I like my eyes. They're blue, like my mom's. Bright, eye-catching blue- the only thing I'm proud of. I'm also slender, I guess. But not 'skinny' I shrugged my jacket off and hung it in my locker, I looked around the hallway and met with a pair of brown eyes that I really didn't need to see.
*Nick's POV*
I was walking down the hallway with a few friends, and made eye contact with the most amazing blue eyes in the world. The eyes of the girl I loved. Honestly, the only word to describe Ariena was beautiful- everything about her. Her mid-length brown hair, curling into ringlets at the end, her eyes, of course, she had a body girls killed for. She would look good in anything, but today she was wearing tightly-fitted jeans and a deep blue sweatshirt that also fit tightly. She broke eye contact to stare at the floor, when she looked back up, I swear there were tears in her eyes. Joe slapped me on the back, "Hey bro!" I turned, "Hey." I wasn't in the mood for this. For anything. I wanted to rewind, three years ago. Everything was great, me and Arie could tell each other anything. And that was all shattered. Because of me. Because I'm an idiot. Ugh! I wish she'd forgive me. I mean, she has no reason to, but still.
