Thank you! Finally a video that attacks the hipster identity associated with fixie riding. 3 thumbs up!

Was the bike originally a coaster brake before?

If this film doesn't make you smile, there's Something Wrong with you.
I hope my daughter grows up to be as practical and as free as Xenia.

damn, all she needs is some skinny jeans and a front aerospoke and she'll be a true "hipster"

I like the extreme selective focus effect ... whats your gear?

The whole film was shot in under 30 minutes and utilized a canon 5D MarkII, and 50mm f/1.2, shot between f/2 and f/4....and a tripod. Glad you enjoyed it.

Great vid, love the song too.
Unfortunately, you did spell riding wrong.

I'm a photographer and not writer :)
And yes, it's always the captions that kill me!
Thanks.

Those kids should be wearing helmets
josephkambourakis 1 year ago
yes they should....helmets are normally required riding attire, as well as a chain guard to protect the toes, but for the purpose of the film both items are absent. however notice the brakes, basket, fenders and girlfriend seat....making this fixie much more practical for daily riding :)
