    So many gorgeous, lovely moments that this amazing couple shared and went through. After everything they've been through, it's sad to know that it all ended because of a car crash (and because an actor's ego got too big). Ugh.

    Unfortunately he is definitely dead. The show crew confirmed he was not returning, particularly because people in the UK saw this episode on Christmas Day - they were pissed AND depressed about it! Dan Stevens just flat out refused any more appearances on the show.
