Three strong vocal women struggle to create their own worth and identity as they quest for themselves in a consumerist society.

Aspiring passions wrestle with the pressure of survival among the fittest in Natasha Gilmores One Up One Down - a comedic flurry of dance theatre, song and tightly wrought performance poetry tackling the fierce self destructive nature of three dynamic women fired up with the goals of attaining flawless beauty or chasing the heels of a big job promotion as the economic crisis looms overhead

Gilmore reunites with Scottish composer, Quee MacArthur of the band Shooglenifty, and introduces the work of Zimbabwean performance poet Tawona Sitholé alongside dance artists Jade Adamson, Tara Hodgson, Vicki Manderson and Michael Sherin.
