George has always been an inspiration he makes me believe just watching his dynamic tension and shining passion still ever so strong after all the years finally George is on an astute life mission make no mistake for he truly is a chosen messenger george sings open, both the heart and the heavens above be kool man big love and thanks Michael Shaviv Israel
My mom saw this guy when he fronted Mandala back in 1967 when they played L.A.! They were friggin' incredible (there's footage of them here type in "Mandala-1966"). George would take off his tie and throw it into the crowd and my mom caught it at the end of the "Five Steps Of Soul" speech he would give to the crowd.
Used to watch George and the Natural Gas in Montreal in the late 70's. THey were the house band at the Boulevard De Paris on St. Catherine St. THey were a great show band. Horns Hammond organ and George doing the great dancing and really strong voice. Loved it.
