if i understood this correctly, someone locked themselves in their room, so to make them smile, the "laugh maker" breaks through their window with a metal pipe.  and they said OUR musicians took drugs. lol, but still good.

@Serpentz1 The point is that someone locked themselves in a room so they could cry, and then the "Laugh Maker" comes along to make them smile. The doors are unable to open because of the pressure made by the tears shed, so the Laugh Maker decides to break in using a pipe and finally make the crying person smile.

@HellsRaven4444 No, the Locked Girl song was made by COOL&CREATE, but is inspired by Bump Of Chicken's Laughmaker. Locked Girl is an homage or parody.

@HellsRaven4444 No, the songwriters are not the same. But COOL&CREATE, who made Locked Girl, have said that Locked Girl is inspired by Laughmaker, so it's not suprising that Locked Girl sounds like Laughmaker.

@roy491 really i thought the drawing and animations was done by COOL&CREATE while the song was done by Bump of Chicken. i mean the rurara~ are the pretty similar for both songs

@HellsRaven4444 Laugh Maker was done by Bump of Chicken, and Locked Girl , as well as the video, was done by COOL&CREATE. And to my knowledge, the two have nothing to do with each other.
