Cutting Comb Honey is tricky to some. Here's the scoop on how to do it. You'll need to buy the comb cutter and containers at Dadant, http://www.dadant.com/ Mann Lake or Brushy Mountain.

  • @boergoat50 You should make comments on your swarm trapping successes. I'm going to ask the public to give input on their success and failure in the comment section.  I'm hearing from lots of folks who caught swarms (and one who struck out).

  • I have a deep with my colony of bees ready for a super to be added to it. I'd like to get a super like yours in which I can harvest comb honey from it. I am having a hard time understanding what exactly I should order when getting my new super. I hear it should be wooden frame and with a thin foundation, but what size super do I need, is it the medium or shallow? I don't want to order the wrong thing as my bees need a new super soon and don't want to delay. thanks if you can answer me.
