Today, a rather extreme case of "I wish I had time to play this game": I finally beat Resident Evil 4 and Seperate Ways. It only took me five years since its release; that's a new record for me. I also finally split my audio signals - which only took me two years since I noted that I still had to do that. I'd almost say there's some kind of pattern going on here.

About the video: I ran into an AI quirk whilst beating the game (which I did in three or so days - don't worry, I'm not *that* slow), which I thought was amusing enough to record. It's nothing spectacular, since most glitches and quirks have already been recorded - but since I couldn't find a video covering this one, voila. The recording is of a New Game+ on Normal (I even bought a brand new Handgun - just so I wouldn't blow everything away in one shot should I feel the need to shoot something); I haven't tested whether or not this can be reproduced on Professional.

  • The same thing happens with the Ganados on the bridge behind the church- The ones that jump the gap and come after you won't pursue Leon if he backs away off the bridge- they'll stand there for a while staring, then run back and jump back over the other side.

  • It's obvious they're not afraid of Leon. They're afraid of the fact that Leon can pull off his look with that hat.
