This came when Patti had left Mercury after a long long association and moved to Columbia to focus on building an album market. Her Columbia albums were remarkable; she deepened markedly as an artist and her already perfect musical attributes became even more perfect. She gave Columbia album after fabulous album, and they all sold big.

This was recorded for the 1965 'Hush Hush Sweet Charlotte" album. Patti originally recorded it in the 50s when it was the flip side of "Left Right Out of Your Heart"....yes, her voice is full and rich.

I don't know when Patti Page sang this, but could her voice have sounded better at any stage of her career? Love those lusty low notes.
