Eh, no screenshot of the Carrion Worm battle :-(
Items Obtained: Tent, Flame Staff, Potion, Phoenix Pinion, Ore, Remedy, 970 gil, Silk Robe, Magician Shoes
I put Freya in the front row, and optimized her:
Freya: Mythril Spear, Barbut, Mythril Gloves, Chain Mail, Reflect Ring
I was having no luck getting into a battle with Carrion Worms in any other screen except the one with the Flame Staff, so I purposefully got in a random battle in that room.
My Carrion Worm battle was all but perfect. Freya and Quina both got the first turn, and I actually ran from the battle (I think for the first time in this challenge). I couldn't have asked for better than that, and fortunately I didn't mess anything else up, so this is a keeper.
Freya and Vivi leave the party until the Antlion battle, so this is the last chance to equip them. Vivi gets the Magus Hat, and Freya gets the Javelin and Coral Ring, all for AP purposes.
There were a few items I needed for some battles later:
Buy: 1 Partisan, 1 Mythril Armlet, 1 Mage's Hat, 2 Mythril Helms
The 2 ATEs I watched were to make Quina appear by the quicksand, without which I could not get those 2 items on the high branch.
Total FMV Time: 15:17
Adjusted Save Time: 3:31:26
Guide Time: 3:42:27

This area was harder than I thought. It took be like 1 hour to get through with 0 encounters and a very good Carrion Battle.

Luckily Carrion Worms only come in pairs, which makes things better. You can fight Carrion Worms in the other screens so there isn't a real need to do what rlouisw does here. You could also snag some of the out of the treasure now if you don't get any encounters through the first 3 screens.
I was always getting hit by a Zuu on the last long stretch, so I did the enter exit strategy for that final screen and it worked like a charm.
