Collecting Star Wars: Ponda Baba

This is a short comprehensive review of Ponda Baba (Walrus man) action figures from 1978-2011.

This is the beginning of a new series of reviews where I try to be detailed and informative without injecting too much criticism or personal opinion. Of course, some personal opinion is going to show up, but I'll try to keep the focus on the toys themselves. I'm also trying to cut out all the background noise and distractions.

Please let me know what you think of the new style. I made a few mistakes in this first video (like implying that water creatures are not mammals, when he is clearly based on a walrus- that's what I get for going off script) but I'll try to catch flubs like that in future videos. Thanks guys!

great review man but your reviews were just so different from all the other reviews and i think they are really unique and awesome. personally i like your other reviews the best. but just do what ever you want. again great review and may the force be with you.

@Jediboy330 Thanks! Actually several people are saying that so i might just go back to the old way. I'll probably only do this style on figures that I don't have any stories to talk about. Thanks for the feedback

Im not a big fan of ur new style. I seem to like the old style better. I liked to hear you opinions on the figure and I like how when you review with just one take.

@theDoodler2 Thanks! I'm glad you liked the old reviews. Maybe I can go back to that instead of this new way. I have a few of these already done but after that I might switch. Thanks for the feedback

great review! i think its a good idea to try a new style, but personally i prefer ur normal style, but i dont think a new style is bad who know though it may grow on me over time

"He doesn't like you.", love the shot glass for boozing action lol. A very nice update imo, that first version sure didn't capture the look of the movie character. Non cauterized nice catch, I remember that in the movie and always found it odd that it was bloody. On the "new" format I'm guessing people prefer the intimate hold the figure unscripted commentary style but the stills and turntable shots could make a nice outro for your old style. ;) Great review btw, learning more SW info every day.

Go back to your old format. This is good, but I like the more lengthy, opinionated format. I've had Ponda for about 3 weeks now and would love to put him in my cantina diorama, but he's hard to find. Thus, he sits packaged on my shelf.

Great Review the last set up that you did was realy cool why not try a big set up?

@CollectorStarWars I have a few I wanted to review. I just picked up the Hoth Rebel and Luke Death Star Escape
