  • Nice vid mate. Here's and idea for fun. As the bamboo tips are a bit curved insert two back to back in an arrow. You would get something like a four blade magnus. Anyways i'm definitely gonna try it. cheers

Not a bad idear mate. You should film it and post it. Could be your first video.

If you do....send me a link.

    Rob.

  • i have always wanted to get into archery, i think im going to look up our laws since im a city dweller, something more fascinating about archery then firearms.

You shouldnt have any issues. We are in QLD and as long as you have an enclosed area in your yard to practise in your fine. With regards to hunting...well...like with guns you must have permission of the land owner to hunt on their land. But you should still check on that mate. Dont take my word for it.

  • well done guys.Thank u very much, helps me out alot.not very much money here.i was wondering if that would work.

  • very nice. just a thought you could ask your mate for some serving string (bow string/single strand) and whip this on the the bamboo tip and the shaft with a coating of pva for belt and braces. nice work mate ! and a nice bow your mate has to! i'm looking for a piece of oak/elm to make my own english long bow.

    thanks for the vid
