@mjhs3609 well if it works your triceps that much then power to you man, use it until it doesn't work. although i feel as though you would need a close grip to really hit the triceps just like a close grip bench press focuses mostly on the triceps. but if it works for you then keep doing it.

@XKrupterX I alternate reverse grip presses with narrow grip presses for triceps. But i agree, it does hit your upper chest like an inclined press, But i disagree with your statement that it hits triceps equivalent to a regular bench press. Because it is a excellent tricep exercise.

@keck47 fine since you cant understand upper pec it works the upper portion of your pectoralis major since most regular girp bench presses work the lower part of your pectoralis major. reversing the grip simply puts more stess on the upper part of the pect major. also this will put the same ammount of strain on your triceps as a regular bench press would and the strain would change if you make your grip narrower. also think about low cable flys, the lift is the same and it works the upper pec

thats really impressive, id be scared as fuck doing bench like that though...
it works your upper pectorial. it is like an incline bench but it doesnt put as much strain on your shoulders.

@XKrupterX there isnt an upper pectoral. Only Pec major and pec minor. Reverse grip bench places most of the load on the triceps
