Jade Plays: Breath of Fire 2 (part 1)

Okay, I thought I'd do something a little different. Different for me anyway, since there are plenty of other playthroughs on this site. Megaman LPs are a dime a dozon here on YouTube, but I thought I'd play what is IMO one of the best RPGs on the Super NES, Breath of Fire 2.

My playthrough however, is spiced up a little. I'm playing with a rom patch that has fully retranslated the game (as well as added a nice intro sequence). As good as the original game was, one of its most glaring problems was the abundant Engrish throughout the game's translation. Square helped Capcom with BoF1, but Capcom was on their own with the second game, so this was perhaps their first attempt at translating such a text-heavy game like an RPG.

This patch can be downloaded at romhacking.net. Also, you'll need to use SNESTool to delete the header of the original rom for the translation patch to work.

Recording the intro of this game is hard to do, because of the streaming it does. just without recording yesterday the intro would actually restart in the middle of the song cause the song would mess up some. If you wanna know, i'm doing a recording of this game myself, I just finished BoF1 GBA.
