Answer: no, not at all. It is simply a sensor of the brain's electrical activity. It does not interfere with the functioning of your brain in any way
The only thing possible is to be annoyed with the headset mechanical pressure on your head.
P.S.: I'm not a NeuroSky employee, just a scholar on Neuroengineering.
