A very basic implementation of face recognition using the openCV libraries. Face detection is done using Haar features in openCV object detection libraries, and face recognition is performed with a correlative template match with a threshold.

  • No, this is C code taking advantage of the openCV library. It's a quite powerful vision library, and easy to learn to use.

  • It's crap guys (I'm the author of these 50 lines of code exercising some openCV functions). And yes, this is at CMU Ajay.

  • there is a difference between face detection and face recognition, this is face detection, not recognition.
