034EFI Launch Control Testing

This is a quick shot of us testing out our new launch control algorithm. Lots of options to tailor spark cutting and fuel cutting strategies, as well as a configurable timing pull to get the turbo spooled up for launch.

In this shot we have a hard-cut (2-step) limiter at ~6500 with the timing pull starting at ~6000 and pulling roughly 30d of timing. This lets us hold our target RPM, with a set amount of boost on tap at lift off.

Works pretty well :)

@alex789888 , because the euro tuner Magazine Grand Prix, which this car was prepared for, requires a spec tire, that's why.

@counterbond , no all solid mounts, but one broke on this launch, good eye! We then re-engineered the mount to not break anymore, it was the cast motor mount bracket on the right side of the car.

thank you for the reply. I believe its a 9.5inch ET20, as listed on Rota's website..I just noticed you had the guards flared(or RS4'ed) from your other videos. Doubt it'll fit a plain jane A4...
