JT - The People United (a protest song for the occupy movement)

This protest song is dedicated to the occupy movement or any person who stands up against oppression. It contains protest footage from all over the world in 2011.

I want nothing more than to inspire people to unite and take it to the streets (or dance in the street), and to inspire people who have already done that to keep doing what is right.

You should have found some footage of a crowd chanting 'The people united' and faded it in towards the end. Just a thought. Good tune though.

@DaveMcDave1973 Thanks! Yeah, I thought about that idea too. (In fact, the original version had just chanting at the end.) But the chanting in my song is rhythmically different than how people usually say it in the street. So there's no footage that will actually match the song. I thought about shooting it myself, but just didn't have the time unfortunately.

Awesome. I'd like more footage of actual diversity in NY, Oakland, SF & change up chorus w/Eng & Span. I couldn't help sing it in both languages as I boogied in my chair!
