  • Sirius A & B orbit eachother with a period of 50.1 years. Please stop uploading videos that claim to have scientific knowledge when in fact it does not.

  • @thisisnotanick

I really did not count it man! But a little search in google shows me that there are "more than just many" websites referring it as 49.9 years and totally unrelated to Quran or Islam, if the "new" scientific results say .2 years more, is it really "more" true than the old results?

but anyway, tell me honestly, if it was (probably it already is) really 49.9 years, would this thing in Quran mean anything for you?

  • Isn't Sirius a star worshipped by pagans in the preislamic era?

  • @llKeon

    yes

  • @dirtyvarmint1 Surah An-Najm actually means chapter of the stars too! And at verse 49(only), God said that, Sirius too is His creation. And at verse 9(only), we can also find the Quran talking about the 'TWO BOW LENGTH'. But it is not talking about the normal kind of bow and arrow, it is actually talking about the distance of Angel Gabriel and Muhammad, like a two bow length! ( But Gabriel, in his true form too) And so we have 49.9. Now check the wiki about Sirius and check under 'System'

  • according to the dogon theres actually 3 stars the quran is wrong but not surprizing considering the fact alot of it was taken from the bible

  • The first people to write were the Sumerians all these stories in the bible an quran come from the Sumerian text, I would sugest going to the source. the Dogon tribe had knowledge about Sirius long before modorn technology could prove them right you dont learn about them because the say they know about Sirius because thats were we came from if your blood is rh- your a hybrid alien/human,

  • The fact that it says "two bow-lengths" is completely out of context. Most likely, someone looked in verses 49 and 9 and saw some sort of dim correlation. Then everyone accepted it as gospel truth and won't shut up about it.

  • is 49/9, TheTrueOrder of ?

  • @FainaruFantajiTen

If I don't know it or don't understand it then it doesn't excist or the claim is false that's why people who don't have knowlegde of science say these things. they always say no that's not true even if they are not experts they always need to give an explanation why don't unbelievers say oh I didn't knew that. as soon as they hear the word God or Allah no that's not true it's not in the quran no the quran doesn't say that. If it has to do with God then it's never true. Weird

  • @HighFlyingDutchman "more true"? Do you know what science is? I dont care how many websites says 49.9 or what way you interpret the Quran, it doesnt change the fact that it is dead wrong.

Like I said, dont claim to have scientific knowledge when do not. What verses something is in the Quran is as irrelevant as it can be. Period.

  • Lets see: if Muhammad had (i.e.) arm-span AS = 66 inch, draw length DL = 66/2.5 = 26.4 inch ≈ 27 inch. His bow length BL = 66 inches.

Distance between Muhammad and Gabriel = 2 BL = 132 inches = 11 feet or closer = 3.35 meters or closer.

No, there are no 49.9 years of distance. That's all I can say.

  • + Draw length: see watch?v=RdV8suofTsM Draw length = (Distance of the arm-span, in inches) ÷ 2.5

+ Bow length is determined in function of the draw length of the archer, in inches. In example: for DL = 28 inches, BL = 66 inches.

Quran Sura 53:7 - While he was in the highest part of the horizon

53:8 - Then he approached and came closer,

53:9 - And was at a distance of but two bow-lengths or (even) nearer.
