  • 0:21 porn shop?

  • @simKearney Only recommended if your are looking for a vibrating guitar.....

  • How is this up to the new Martins and Taylor 214 and 314 and so on? Gibson J45 and 1200+ dollar guitars?

  • @klasse2bub Most of the Sigmas are either laminate, or solid top w/ laminate back and sides. I would never compare a solid-wood guitar (such as most Martins, Taylors, Gibsons, etc.) to a laminate guitar- solid wood usually wins hands-down. Having said that, sound is very subjective. There are also a lot of other things (such as your choice in strings, or most importnat- the PLAYER!) that can make a good guitar sound great or a great guitar sound bad. Cheers!

  • Doesn't matter if it was made out of paricle board . Thisa guitar sounds great

  • @OttoHaroo I bought a Sigma in 1985, I've played in almost everyday since and I absolutely love it. I paid $169.00 at the Banjo Shop in Hollywood Florida. Like the man said, its the best cheap guitar ever.

  • @simKearney: PAWN shop....

  • I have a Taiwan Sigma DR-28 that I've been playin for 3 or 4 years now. It has an incredible sound for a Taiwan made guitar. Everything you described about yours concerning sound and playability is all the same for mine. I would like to own a real Martin someday, but for now I'm perfectly content with this Sigma. It may seem silly but this guitar is kind of a part of me now, and I'll never get rid of it. You did a really nice review on these guitars. Good job.

  • I agree! Just bought a used sigma dr-7, made in japan and it sounds incredible

  • @simKearney

    fuckin' awesome!

  • I am looking at one of these guitars and was wondering what they are worth? This one is going for $170.00

  • @manelcebas i also found a sigma dm3 made in korea for 160.00 and it has an unbelievable sound and feel for an inexp. piece it has a couple dings and dents so i use it everywhere and dont have to worry about 2000.00 getting hurt in other words its a great user.

  • Hi, I just purchased a Sigma Model FDM-1, it also was inspected by Martin and company, do you know anything about the model, value etc.

    Thanks in advance

  • This thing worth checking out for $150? Found a TB-1 Sigma.
