On 21 October 1978, 20-year-old Frederick Valentich disappeared in unknown circumstances while piloting a Cessna 182L light aircraft over Bass Strait to King Island, Australia. This is an extract from a now-discontinued radio show called Radio Eye, first broadcast in 2008 by ABC Radio National. It was produced by Tony Barrell and presented by Brent Clough.

Its not just a matter of finding his body, he's dead, closure. We all should wanna know what he saw, what he encountered, and what the hell went on out there.

If this happened in America they would have made a movie bout it 4 sure!! 1 of the most baffling UFO mysteries. Unlike other cases the Pilot and plane dissapeared after the Pilot reported seeing something unusual.
