@rudabeh OK I also understand your point. You can call yourself both since I'm sure you are a mix of Persian and Hebrew ancestry. As long as you keep your Hebrew identity alive I'm ok with it.

@YehudaMizrahi I understand your point, but I am an Iranian Jew and I speak Farsi, my last name is Iranian (not Hebrew) because I have two ethnicities: Iranian and Jewish. They are both integral to my identity. One is not better (or worse) than the other. I see nothing wrong with being able to speak Farsi and not Hebrew, but praying in Hebrew, but not in Farsi.
