I watched this movie a couple of hours ago and I was literally crying my eyes out at the end. It's such a sad movie and I do agree that it is very underrated in North America. I think anyone from any background in any place can watch this movie and feel the sadness and desperation that these citizens felt during the 1980 Gwangju democratization movement, and witness the horrors that take place in this reenactment

i heard this was a hit in korea, but it seems really underrated in the u.s. this really is a fantastic movie, and i encourage everyone to watch it.
