  • how come you mod the game? the original was pretty good but got difficult later on.

  • To make a good game better. The faiths that were once underplayed are now equally worthy of being played. Many bugs were fixed. Implemented a system of unitary balance, which the creators really had no concept of. Lords and Special Champions can reach Level 15. New artifacts and new spells. If you liked the original, you'll love the mod. But don't take my word for it.

  • @Ellelone The mods are only for people that suck at the game and can't hack it.

  • @snnecksjr The mods are for people who want an updated LOMSE. All faiths become viable options instead of just Order, Life and Death. GSZ is an updated LOMSE, basically a 302 patch (or rather 303 patch, since someone else made an "unofficial 302 patch.")

  • Ah I use the special edition and no mod and still do pretty awesome so I'm happy

  • Respond to this video... Mobilty and being able too move farther in this game trumps and beats all. Life units have good base movement and air and death start with mobility spells too make their party move farther with 15% and 30%.

  • Respond to this video... I've beat the game with every faith altho some take longer then others because they suck. Death if by far the best and life is always second and I would have to say air is third.

  • Mantera's mod tries to balance the game in a simpler, more straightforward manner. The original game was already very well balanced, but to play some of the "underplayed" faiths well (water, chaos mage, earth thief, fire with rock hurlers) you needed to be -very- familiar with the finer points of the game. The mod shifts balance so that you're good to go from the start, and so each faith follows similar standards when it comes to early game (liberating your great temple). mid game, etc.

  • I hate how some games lose their "Magic". Over time as graphics get better and better. This game becomes boring because you've been exposed to better and newer things.
