The Palm islands are actually pretty cool, but The World is not as exciting. Whereas the Palms have an organized, symmetrical structure, shopping areas and infact an entire infrastructure, 'The World' is just piles of course sand dumped haphazardly in the ocean to form 'islands.' If it very accurately portrayed a map of the world it might be more enticing, but as it stands they might as well just call it 'The Sand Piles.'

This is a nice video, but what happened to dubai if that is what it is abt.? All i see is the sea, burj al arab and rich people jumping in the water? DUbai is definately not that!
I Live here. Saw, hated i it and going back to a NATURAL WORLD!! Salaries are high yes, but everything disappears on salik & rent.
Its only a joke for the rich. It is waayy tooo fake.

i have to agree with you 100% mai999999, ever since ive seen this place i just cant get it out my head sometimes i have dreams that im in dubai and i wake up and i feel like its just a matter of until i make there i kmow ill make it there, also nice background music!
