@RiffDumpster88 i ride bmx so i got the feeling for it first doin em literally on flat with both tiers on the floor in a empty space until i got comfortible with full extension. sense it was on flat i also got good at getting my legs over quickly cuz i had to. then when i took it to a ramp and had the general idea and feel, and got it in a few trys. and if u learn em that way and can do em quick if u got the balls and ride street u can throw em down stairs gap drops ect. even in bunny hops

@SlipGodfatherKnot the way I learned is just doing a can can but letting my back foot lift off the pedal too, it doesnt look good but its a start
-
I don't look down at my pedals - then again, I wear lizards -
placing your feet in the general area, just offset to the bottom bracket, letting the crank arms guide your feet to the pedals. if you can't do this on big no footers, then I wouldn't even think about attempting can cans.
is it perfect? Na' but it at least you don't have to take your eyes off the landing, and you get better at it.

Do it like he says: up a stepup to a flat landing or something at first. Make sure to pop the lip well just like a no footer. After that, you have to make sure the bike drops a bit, especially if its a cruiser or MTB. Take feet off, up and over. It will take practice for it to be good because at first you will just be putting the feet over the toptube with no extension. A way to work on extension is the one footed can (especially on BMX, since the toptube is WAY lower).
