How to download Runes of Magic *EASY*

The easy way to download Runes of Magic. It took me literally 2 hours to figure out where to download Runes of Magic from from a trusted source. I found one.

If you want faster downloads on FilePlanet, you can subscribe to them (you have to pay) but I find free is the best way for a cheap-o like me =D

Q: When I try to login after patching it doesn't work!

A: Exit the game, start the game and on the patcher click Territory, and choose where you live. (US in this case).

Q:When I start the game, it shows a black screen.

A; That is because your computer does not meet the requirements to play the game. There are plenty of other MMORPG's out there that you can try, though.

Q: On fileplanet, it says that the game is the open beta client.

A: I know. The patcher will patch to the latest version of the game, though.

Q: How long did it take to download and patch this game?

A: For me, 2 hours to download, and 2 hours to patch. It took quite some time, but that time was worth it.

Q: I downloaded this game off firefox and it is not working properly.

A: Do NOT use firefox to download this game. It will be disfunctional if you do, Internet Explorer is always the way to go if you'd like to download games.

Q: I have a Mac, will this game work?

A: On the system requirements it didn't state firefox in it so I believe it does not. I do not have a mac on my part so I cannot confirm it.
Q: Do you still play?

A: No, I am currently searching for a next-gen MMO to play. Preferably with good graphics that run on the Unreal 3 Engine.

Q: The patcher stays at 30% or another number and it doesn't go up! It's been a long time.

A: There is a bug with the patcher, you must wait 2 hours for it to finish patching. The bug is that the % doesn't go up.

so i downloaded it and once start up the game the update starts at 30 % then when the download gets to 100% it just restarts

@kooldragon3 Hey man, I sent you a message. You can also look at the FAQ in the video section to make sure your question has already been answered.

@GhrimShady You need to wait and let it keep on restarting. It will keep on restarting for around 2 hours and then it will take you to the login screen. I guarantee you it will work if you wait until it stops restarting.

@ariadarabi ive done the update before but i deleted the game after a year, im updating it again but its been restarting for more than 2 and a half hours :/

@kooldragon3 Haha, no; I play Lord of The Rings Online.

It's kinda like Runes of Magic, but the world is much bigger and there's more to do. Runes of Magic is still amazing though.

@ariadarabi well last night it finally downloaded and it got to the part like last time so i waited and in about 15 mins. it finished and i finally started playing it :D. so thanks for the help man. and at first i didnt like the controls but i met someone and they said i could change the controls so i made the controls like world of warcraft. do you still play runes of magic?
