@Zva26 I think Argentieri sounds like Nilsson, not only by virtue of the enormous size of her voice but the tone itself. Moreover, her singing is very good; notice her breath control and broad phrasing. A phenomenal singer indeed! Thanks, Zva26, for forwarding, and thanks to Abigayl1950 for posting.

Where is this soprano hiding herself? The voice is positively massive! Not since Birgit Nilsson and Ghena Dimitrova have I heard such a Turandot.

Alessandra Argentieri is the soprano; who is the tenor? In the other version shot from the audience he seems to be oriental or are they two different performances with two different tenors? She is impressive.
