    Hey, this isn't Metallica's usual deal, but I dig it. Bands evolve, or in some cases, they devolve. Music isn't what it was, and I don't ever think we'll see anything like '82-'97, so be happy with it.

    i believe that it wasn't nice to see Metallica do whatever they wanted to do, but obviously they weren't just thrashers.. everybody just says they did those albums for money.. what if i told you that, they did it because they wanted to do that? of course, they became more famous and rich.. but that doesn't mean they did it for that. in 90's they were still rebellious as in 80's, just with other music. it was still metal.

    and if it was for fame they wouldn't do St. Anger and Lulu. that's for sure
