Pilot for a Hawaiian Cooking Show.. Cooking Hawaiian Style brings Hawaiian flavors into your kitchen.

Episode 001 is a simple, healthy recipe for one of the most popular Hawaiian favorites, Poke. Poke is a kind of seafood salad most commonly made with tuna, but also octopus, crab, and other types of fish. There are countless variations of poke. This recipe is the one I make at home in NYC.

If you like this recipe, try it with cooked octopus instead of tuna, it's fantastic.

  • You can use furikake too.

  • yes, furikake is awesome if you can find it. The local market, Lahaina Farms, has an excellent version with furikake and black roe; delicious.
