Information on the suitability of Snow Creek for paddling has been surprisingly scarce. Few have run it as a whitewater creek and even fewer have shared their "boater's" perspective with me. With the offer of water releases from Mark Larimore (who co-owns Sheppard Mill) we have been anxious to see the condition of the creek and whether a release from the millpond would be enough to make it an enjoyable 4.5 mile float.
