The piano music, "Our Love," is played by Craig Monticone. It's recorded on the CD called, "Refections".

I think your missing the point, the story is trying to tell us that we need to be "whole" before we can happy. Relying for someone or something to come along to make you "whole" is not the answer. You need to proactive. It's about establishing a strong base (rolling by yourself) and then you can go out into the world and seek what you want to make you happy/"whole". Complex desires and plans can be achieved once your fundamentally stable and complete as a person.

i think the "missing piece" is someone who is looking for the right "guy" or "girl" to be with. And Maybe, The Big O is someone who is very strong, and he gave the missing piece advice.

he gave him advice that you dont need a lover to feel whole, you just have to role on with life, and if someone wants to be in your life, they will.

    everything happends for a reason.

    This is real inspiring...

I'm close to 30 years old, but still feel missing.

But maybe Before looking for my missing piece,

I need to be "whole" by myself and proactive.

Fortunately, I got the chance to stay abroad for 1 year.

I will try to be "whole"

And if you listen very hard

The tune will come to you at last.

When all is one and one is all

To be a rock and not to roll.

When my English professor read this story in class.. I got struck!

It was so mind opening and inspiring!

We all came to this point in life where we feel like we're incomplete or someone's missing piece

We try to be " someone" to be recognized or try to fit in..

We meet different people.. some see us some don't...

    others come and go..

We just need to meet our Big O to help us realize we are already whole..and that we don't need anyone or anything to make us whole..

in my own opinion, i think that WE are the missing piece and GOD is the big O, at first we are looking for someone to depend on. we tried to get the attention of others, like being a member of a group of friends, we are trying to get their attention in order for us to join their group, but when we met GOD we immediately think that He is the perfect being like the BIG "O" he gave us advice and He told us that we should move on our own and stand on our feet to be able to meet with Him someday. :)
