I remember the surf being WAY bigger than this that day. If your date is correct this would be the swell we got from Florence, but that surf was double overhead...close to 15 feet. Check your dates.

You got me thinking so I went back to the original tape and the time code is correct - 9/14/06. I shoot from the overlook which is about 14' above sea level. The angle always makes it look smaller than it is - I know that from getting my butt kicked at times. Thanks for the comment and look for more to come - I have great video from the same spot going back to 2001 and will post it as time allows. Will
