  • "and then the brain says....forget about it......it aint going there!" haha this type of thing is the reason your vidoes are so easy to absorb as you make it fun to watch aswell as these videos can be quite boring and monotone........cant praise you high enough mate. Also I wonder if you can now teach me how to stop saying "ridiculously easy" before I take every shot :)

  • @elcige Thank you for the great comment mate! Our season is ending which means yours is starting...sucks for us! :)

  • you are a great teacher...this has helped me tremendously!

  • You should write a book or essay on the cognitive, kinesthetic and proprioceptive aspects of the golf swing. I've never heard anyone explain the golf swing in these terms before, but it just makes so much sense - let's face it, the only thing controlling where that golf ball is going is your body, controlled by what? The brain! Too many teachers stress focusing on this or that movement, but that's taking valuable brain function away from the actual goal. I'd buy a copy, that's for sure!

  • good video! very scientific analysis yet very easily understandable.

  • If Tin Cup has taught us anything it is that mental is just as important as physical haha and "grip it and rip it!"

  • @elcige yeah Shawn does make it fun I really like how he gets in to do the mental side of the game because that's a whole lot of the game. Someone can hit the ball over 300yds but if they cant control the mental side of the game there done. Does Shawn have a video on alignment anywhere?

  • This is a very good video, very clever. This is exactly the scenario that causes most of us to develop the over the top /slice/cut swing. It's basically leaned as a reaction to having an open or nor releasing the club face. Good stuff!!1

  • @martinavizcomm Second that!

  • Shawn, any chance you can move to England so i can have weekly lessons from you please? Many thanks!! Martin =]
