@amvfreack agreed. Makoto was willing to sacrifice herself just to be with Yuiichi for a few weeks. Even if it meant for her to waste away at some point and die, it didn't matter to her, as long as she was with him. Her love was that strong for him. I honestly believe if she somehow survived after ep10, Ayu romance arc would of never happened. Yuiichi was falling in love with her. The other girls suffered but no where near the amount Makoto was willing to endure and they all had happy endings.

really good amv n song i watch this anime n makoto was my favourite, brought tears to my eyes because i remembered that episode her final moments n yes she should have been in the ending i didn't really like ayu to n cristiv950 im 19 years old so yea i couldn't stop crying.

@thanas90 Anyway,she was just a fox,wasn't? Even knowing this,I think I understand her a little.She prefered to die rather than being alone.Maybe she thought that the cat was the same.And even more,her story was so sad,that I cannot get angry whatever she did.

@luisimgb18 yeah but she wasnt abbandonned between cars. he just left her in the woods where a fox actually calls its home.

but Makoto dropped the kitty in my eyes its more like trying to kill the kitty

(there is a video irl that 3 people drop a dog from a really high bridge. Result: the dog was still alive with major broken bones happily it could still walk but with some special wheels on its back, but when i saw that video i really wish i was there to throw them off that bridge too.)

@thanas90 Remember that she was just a fox,of course she would lack common sense.But I can understand her point.What happened with the cat,was almost like what happened with herself(being abandoned and stuff like this).What did Makoto do? She gave her life and memories,in order to not being abandoned again.Sorry my bad english.
