A Union Pacific grain train with AC4400CTEs #5727 and #5767 and distributed power unit (DPU) AC4400, Southern Pacific #146, power out of Tunnel 1 just outside of Control Point (CP) Stockton at milepost 3.2 on the Valley Subdivision. The lead units are both made by Kato and the DPU is from Athearn's Ready to Roll series. Video was taken on 7/11/09 at 1:53pm during the GGMRC's operating session.

  • Thanks! Took me a while to figure out which ones work best as pushers!

  • Nice. I've noticed here in Seattle,

diesels are being added to the rear of the trains. Probably not just as helpers, but to save time when changing direction. Nice touch.
