  • When 464 was running at knotts her trailing truck would pop off once and a while. but the turns have not change much since 70's. maybe u should take a trip out to knotts and take a ride.

  • I have known about the Forney being from Disney, then traded to Cedar Point, but I did not know that they had tighter turns back then than they do now.

  • Thats not why. The Forney was traided from disney to ceaterfair bc the Forney was to big for disney land and to big for world. thats why they traided it to ceaterfair for the one that disney land has now. Knotts got it bc ceaterfair owns knotts. one guy at knotts asked if they can have the forney bc it would be cheaper to run. not bc of the c19s are to big. the lay out use to be even smaller then it is now. tighter turns even.

  • That's why they bought a forney.

  • I was told that they only take that 2-8-2 on special ocasions.

  • I would of loved to see that engine at Knotts back in the days. the c19's dont like the turns to much, cant belive that even made it around.

  • Im from flint and ive been there many times

as a matter a fact i was so close the railroad thea some times you could hear the trains whistle.

  • At 0:39 a guy said they started working on this engine in 1994, what he meant was in 1994, part of 464's frame broke and was pulled out of service and replaced by HRR #2, they finished working on 464 in 2004 but the reason why it took so long was because they had to build a brand new tender cause the original one had too much irrepairable holes in it. now her she is working again.

  • I love that place.

  • Correct. =)
