OK for all the people who say dre copied q tips style is crazy. dre started changing is style after there first album. he stop smoking and drinking if you do believe go back and listen this was in 1994 and 1995 people.

No one said he copied TIp's style, but they are similar to each other in ways. Plus Tip said that what Outkast is doing is what he was doing on his 2nd and 3rd (Open).Your statement only makes it worse considering that ATCQ had 3 albums out all of them meet with great success especially Midnight Marauders in 93 went Triple Platinum. Tip only changed his style once in 99 by that time Outkast had 3 albums and ATCQ had 5 albums. So please do not use years to plead this case. No Go.

1. The style are similar even Tip said what Outkast was doing is what he was doing when making this album. 2. Who does it better is a matter if opinion I love Andre 3K, but Tip has more under his belt group, solo, or production that why I prefer him over 3K. 3. They both rap, sing, and produce to Beats that are not commercial by any means. Along with different ways of sing then others.The fact that Tip is Muslim is irrelevant because they took about the same subject all the time.

Quite true my friend but a lot of that jazz was fusion/funk oriented, i.e. Weldon Irvine, Freddie Hubbard, Roy Ayers, RAMP etc. Not to mention soul music from people like Minnie, Stevie, and other dominant 1970s groups.

Tribe was more "Jazz" than Funk. Sampled mostly Jazz, etc. Kast was more Funk or Funk-y
