This is an oldie that gets stuck in your head. I hated it back in the day, but it makes me laugh now. I am surprised that I still remember the words. Sigh... of all the things I need to remember and can't, why does it have to be this 50 year old commercial??
-
That bald old asshole doesn't know what he's singing!
-
You got that right.
-
they don't make ads like they use to
-
Anybody remember the old man who used to appear after this spot who had no teeth biting into a sausage biscuit??!! This played in KY/TN!
-
We get cookies here too, but they're a specific kind of biscuit - circular and often with chocolate chips etc.
-
Also, if you want to see how they are made, just type in "homemade biscuits" in a search.
-
You are welcome.
I actually learned of the different use of the same word watching the British comedy "Keeping Up Appearances" which airs over here...Hyacinth always calling Elizabeth over and offering her "biscuits" which were different from what I knew biscuits to be.
