  • yea i dont think all molecules give out Raman spectrum... some do, sone deont.... those that do are called Raman active...

  • Last time I checked C60 was a spherical molecule and it gives a pretty awesome raman spectrum.

  • ffxme?!? What are you talking about ffxme- two completely different statements! Spherical molecules can still scatter photons with frequencies dependent on the vibrational and/or rotational energy of the corresponding chemical bond.

  • Excuse me, but not all molecules show a raman spectrum, spherical molecules are not anisotropically polarisable
