A toyota with paddle shifters?
-
@DaedalusZero it is the primitive version of VW's DSG, which is also a semi-auto but has two clutches instead of one. This is just a regular manual gearbox with automated clutch and gear selector, it does not have a torque converter - the US model has it - the europe model is not an automatic gearbox... thus the gear changes are shaky and laggy... you can feel that it cuts out the throttle, when changing gears...
-
@coolfly005 - It's laggy because it's an automatic with "manual" controls and nothing more. There is no clutch. It's just a regular automatic with a torque converter. Lots of cars have the same damn thing. A semi-auto gearbox actually has two automated clutches for rapid gear selection and doesn't slosh from gear to gear like a faux-manual gearbox does. Just because something says manual on it doesn't mean it actually is.
-
@DaedalusZero it has an MMT transmission, which is basically a manual gearbox with automated clutch controls... Imagine a manual gearbox with no clutch pedal.... It's quite laggy tho....
-
@DaedalusZero I drive a manual car and personally I recon that semi automatics are the new manual car.
-
Semi-Auto? LOL It's fully automatic with a "manual mode". Nice try, though.

No, I sold them because I was short on money

for a scooter? i have to agree with laxin88! I never find 500hp boring. But look out everyone! 32 horses of raw power on it's way!

I told you that I used to own a Camry and a Saab 9-3...But I've sold them all
