I remember this show (barely). I mostly remember it for the open music, which I rediscovered a few years later when I got into the music of The Tubes. The open bed is an early mash-up of the song "Turn Me On" from their album "Remote Control" which was, ironically enough, a concept album which made quite a commentary about television and its power over people.
