If you buy a Canon, you will eventually have to face the factory service center and they will NOT honor their warranty. My HD so-called Professional Camera has been in the shop THREE times in its short 6 month life. They tried to charge me $1,000 because of a defective firewire port. Complete idiots. Defective equipment and a 4 year warranty. I will NEVER buy any Canon product again. Period. Considering it, are you? Save your money ... don't do it. Canon sucks.

@MEGABOINK65 no playing around...just the camera with the kit lens...after i recorded this i went to the editing lab and captured the video and uploaded it to youtube

@MEGABOINK65 back then i was an idiot...and i used the small bag to carry it with me...i left the mic in the big case i usually keep the camera in

This is my dream camera, but I will soon have my hands on an Xha1s which should get the job done. Nice video

@InsightMediaPro the xha1 is a good camcorder...gives as good a picture as the xlh1...but the xl-h1 is very customizable...i love it cuz i can use canon ef lenses along with the canon video lenses. the only drawback is the HDV...very unreliable...plagued with dropouts...if you have money, go with the Sony EX3
