It really doesn't matter if Obama accomplishes anything.
In our time of need he stepped forward and offered us something new. Something different. He didn't just offer Americans this, he offered it to the world.
He offered hope. Hope is a powerful thing. Probably the best of things. The question is now that we have hope what do we the people intend to do with it?
